Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy governs the delivery of products purchased from SunTayo.ca. Please review this policy prior to placing your order. This policy may be updated periodically without direct notice.
1. Processing Time
All orders are processed and shipped from our Toronto facility. Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional transit time for delivery.
2. Domestic Shipping & Canada Post Guidelines
We utilize Canada Post for our domestic shipments. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Standardized delivery times generally range from 1 to 10 business days depending on your distance from our Toronto facility.
- Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days (estimated)
- Expedited Shipping: 1–4 business days (estimated)
Weight and Size Limits: As per Canada Post policy, parcels are subject to specific packaging requirements and a maximum weight limit of 30 kg per item. Orders exceeding these limits may require alternative shipping arrangements.
We may offer free shipping for domestic orders over a certain threshold, which will be indicated clearly on our website.
3. International Shipping
We offer shipping to select international destinations ONLY by request.
International delivery estimates can range from 10–25 business days, depending on the destination and local customs processing times.
4. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24–48 hours.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International)
SunTayo.ca is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Missed Deliveries and Address Accuracy
The customer is responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is provided at the time of purchase. If a delivery attempt is missed, Canada Post policy includes a 15-day hold at your local post office. If the parcel is not picked up within this 15-day window, it will be returned to the sender.
If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or failure to pick it up from the post office within the 15-day hold period, the customer is responsible for the re-shipping costs.
7. Damages and Lost Packages
SunTayo.ca is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please also save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
8. Delayed Delivery
All delivery dates provided are estimates. Once the package has been transferred to the carrier, SunTayo.ca cannot guarantee delivery within the estimated timeframe. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or unforeseen events (e.g., weather, holiday volume).
9. Pick-Up Options
At this time, we do not offer local pick-up options. All orders must be shipped to a valid street address.
